Technological Education - Hospitality and Tourism Long Term Occasional Assignment

The TVDSB is currently accepting applications for Secondary Occasional Teachers with Qualifications in Technological Education, Hospitality and Tourism. 

Please note that this posting will be considered for current and future Long-Term Occasional Teaching opportunities in Technological Education, Hospitality and Tourism.

Current LTO Opportunity
Location: Arthur Voaden Secondary School, St. Thomas, Ontario
Assignment:  1.0 FTE (2 lines of TFC3E/4E and 1 line TFB3E/4E)
Required Qualifications: Grades 11-12 Hospitality and Tourism
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: June 27, 2025

Candidates in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and with required qualifications will be given first consideration. 

In certain circumstances the Board may apply to the Ministry of Education for a Letter of Permission in order to meet its programming needs.  Teacher candidates that are attending a Technological Education Teacher Education program for Technological Education- Hospitality and Tourism and are not currently certified through the Ontario College of Teachers are welcome to apply.

  • One written reference letter (educational and supervisory in nature). 
  • Two additional references to be contacted. Please include a current phone number and email address for each. At least one reference must be relevant to education one may be from paid employment outside of the education sector. Both references must be recent and supervisory in nature.
