The successful candidates must possess written and oral fluency in the Ojibwe language.
The Thames Valley District School Board will first consider Internal Secondary Occasional Teachers that meet the required qualifications.
Candidates in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and with the required qualifications will be considered before non-certified teachers.
In certain circumstances the Board may apply to the Ministry of Education for a Letter of Permission in order to meet its programming needs. Candidates that have written and oral fluency in the Ojibwe Language but are not currently certified through the Ontario College of Teachers are welcome to apply.
