Emergency Supply Staff
are not OCT qualified but individuals who have expressed an interest in working with students and present with current educational and/or work background that reasonably supports their use for coverage purposes in emergency situations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Currently hold a four year University degree or are enrolled in University – 3 or 4th year, Masters, or PhD student
Minimum 6 months experience working with children;
Proven ability and willingness to support students with special needs;
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment;
Availability to accept assignments on a casual basis during the day and with short notice
Successful candidates will be required to provide the Board with proof of school enrollment and original current satisfactory Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector for employment.
